Conscientia Health's new AI platform brings mental and physical care together across all 50 states, removing healthcare's most stubborn wall
1 May 2026

Conscientia Health, a US virtual care provider, launched an AI-assisted platform on 27 April that delivers mental health and primary care through a single clinical interface, available to patients in all 50 states.
The company is targeting what clinicians and policymakers have long described as a structural flaw in American healthcare: the separation of mental health services from routine medical care. Patients have typically moved between two disconnected systems, with limited coordination between providers and, in some cases, delayed or incomplete diagnoses as a result.
The new platform gives clinicians a unified interface through which AI tools process mental and physical health data at the same time. The system is designed to flag potential cross-domain risks in real time and generate personalised care recommendations. The company says same-day and next-day appointments are available, either virtually or at one of its 73 locations across the country.
Conscientia Health reports a current patient base of more than 15,000. Dr Simbiat Adighije, the company's founder and chief executive, described the model as built around "one team, one coordinated plan," with AI serving as the connective layer between clinical disciplines.
The commercial rationale for integrated care is well established. Fragmented treatment generates significant avoidable costs, particularly where co-existing physical and mental health conditions go undetected until they require more intensive intervention. The AI-assisted telehealth market is forecast to expand from $5.6bn in 2026 to over $32bn by 2034, according to industry projections.
Reimbursement policy for integrated virtual care remains in development, and the performance of AI-based risk tools across varied patient populations at scale has yet to be independently verified. How regulators and insurers respond to this model as it grows will shape whether it can deliver on its clinical and financial promise.
